Climb Out
04:44
|
|||
It's about time I found myself waking up in a different place
Wearing clothes I don't recognize strange lips on a strangers face.
Momentarily recalling home but then realized it wasn't
Kinda just seemed like a dream but maybe it wasn't
And I can remember the characters just don't recognize the place
Maybe I was happier there strange lips on a strangers face
And I dont mind so I kinda liked all my friends that way we always said we'd get away "If they ever gave us a chance" And those were better times I told myself and it seems so, and there are better times ahead in a place I'll never go. And you seem satisfied with all my answers.
And I'll climb outta here someday. And I'll climb outta here someday
And if a hand reaches in for me you can bet I'll probably go, but I'll never forget you all you know. And I thought he said, (but I was wrong) "Everything comes and goes"
And you were there but not like now
"How the hell did you get in there?"
If I find myself waking up in a different place wearing clothes I don't recognize, strange lips on a strangers face, and you seem satisfied with all my answers. "I'll know somethings wrong"
And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah. And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah. And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah. And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah. And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah. And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah. And I'll climb outta here some day Yeah

Dead Corp.
03:27
|

Whoever said they could silence your voice.
They never threw dirt on your grave
Maybe its best that you gave up instead
You said yourself you were already Dead.
God, we all wept cause we knew it was due.
You'd think we'd all just crawl in with you.
We kicked the dust off of our shoes.
We all had agenda too.
Some of us saw it and we licked our lips
Some of us bought it it was just that thick
Some of us saw it and we licked our lips
Some of us bout it it was just that sick
Whoever said they could silence your voice.
They never threw dirt on your grave
Maybe its best that you gave up instead
You said yourself you were already Dead.
God, we all wept cause we knew it was due.
You'd think we'd all just crawl in with you.
We kicked the dust off of our shoes.
We all had agenda too.
Some of us saw it and we licked out lips
Some of us bought it it was just that thick
Some of us saw it and we licked our lips
Some of us bought it it was just that sick

Ego
02:59
|
|||
Ego drives me, ugly and weird. Reflections look at my self in the mirror.
Misshapen features contain me. Damaged soul peering back.
I'd give anything just to be beautiful but I don't have much to sacrifice.
Aint got no money and there aint to much upstairs, so I guess I'll just suffice with being nice.
It's that ignorant arrogance that keeps us alive and that tactical desperation that will finally kill us.
I tell myself, "It could be much worse". I just smile 'cause I'm lucky to be alive.
Hold my head up, and cherish each compliment. If I don't have that, I just might lose my mind.
It's that ignorant arrogance that keeps us alive and that tactical desperation that will finally kill us.
It's that ignorant arrogance that keeps us alive and that tactical desperation that will finally kill us.
There goes my ego, there goes my ego, there goes my ego ...again.

Falling Down
02:30
|
|||
Who are you?
What do you want?
Your intentions perplex me.
Am I filling a void? Am I digging a hole?
Am I everything you expected to see.
My inhibitions lead to rash decisions
Falling Down only gives me some time.
I love to be loved, but where were you?
When I wore my heart on my sleeve and my convictions were true
Falling Down only gives me some time and If you really knew me
You'd know there's something inside.
So where were you, when I was falling down?
I let the chemical settle, and I can sleep for a while.

Fragile
05:02
|
|||
Don't walk around bitter
Don't walk around with those thoughts of me
Don't walk around with with a chip on your shoulder
Because that chips not worth the extra weight
Don't walk around with pieces of your broken heart in your hand
Tears in your eyes don't mean that much to me
I told you when you get much older,
Your fragile little heart wont break so easily.
